Bride and Groom photo session at Hilton of Easton
Well, this is the first of a series of blog posts I will be working on. I really hope you enjoy this!! Not sure how many I will be doing but the goal is to highlight an image and give everyone a little more detail about it. I will be including various details about the image. My goal is not just about the specs for photographers but also some locations for couples looking for wedding venues or maybe locations for engagement and wedding photography.
First out is not just one but two images. This took place outside of the Hilton Easton. Our couple Sillena and Kelly were getting ready at the Hilton of Easton in Columbus so a first look at the hotel worked out for timing. Outback I was able to find a shaded patio with these stone columns to add some appeal. Another great use of columns like this is lighting. You will find the stone is neutral in color and also adds some extra fill light. What I really love about these wedding portraits is the softness of our bride and the personality of our groom. Both of these images really fit our couple. Wedding photography is about showcasing who a couple is on their first day as husband and wife.
So for the photographers, This was shot on my canon mark IV. Lens I think the 85 1.2 and the 50 1.2 were used.
