Sometimes the small weddings can turn out the best. I met Aimee and Brett last winter for a very cold engagement session in the arena district, I was glad this days weather was much warmer. Spent the morning getting to know all the ladies while they were getting hair and make-up done at Nurtur the Salon in Columbus. With a little break in between, the starbucks down the road was calling my name, but then off to a familiar church in Grandview. With a small wedding it gives me a chance to talk to more of the family and guests, as it is always a pleasure to here the stories behind the couple. It is also a great opportunity to take some time to really get some detailed photographs of all the work that goes into the wedding day.
Cameron Mitchell’s Martini made for the perfect intimate place for a little food, wine and hors d’oeuvres. Oh yes, it was great to walk in and see a fantastic triple tier cake from my friends at Resch’s Bakery. The icing details were elegant and the taste was unmatched as usual.
