Best Wedding Photo from 2015
Before the 2016 wedding season kicks off I was taking a look back at some of my 2015 wedding photography. I decided this year would be great to pick one of my favorites.
Not so easy at all!!!
There were so many photos that is running through my head what should I pick? I had to really decide on what I felt makes a great photo. Would it be lighting? Color? Composition? What I strive for is capturing the emotion and story of a wedding day through photography.
So I knew it had to be an emotional story.
So then there was no contest. If you follow my blog there was one wedding and one moment that really got to me. Had to hide behind the camera for a little while. While there is one photo that stands out there are a few others that really complete the story.

So I knew a little going into this wedding there would be some emotional moments. I always worry can I do them justice? I could see on my list the reception dances were going to be special. Many times I try to focus on the couple on the floor but always stay open for a great crowd shot. This time I new the crown was going to be a part of my image. The first dance happened as any other first dance. Then came the father/ daughter dance. What I knew was Carly had lost her father, her partners were going to be an Uncle, her father-in-law and her brothers. Each one coming in throughout the song. So my favorite is with her father-in-law but I thought a few extras would help the story.
